Product Review: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

Hey guys! So after taking more of a month off to sort through a bunch of things, I've finally decided to blog again. I know it's been so long, I was really missing it, and I thought whats a better way to survive the school year than blogging? Nothing right?

Anyways lets get to the grind, I've picked a product that I bought last month to do a review on. It's the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. Now when I purchased this product I bought it in the deep red first and was absolutely in love with it. It create the perfect red lip the matte finish is sexy and beautiful all in one. I seriously love it. I decided I had to go back and buy a baby pink, I was so excited to go home and try it but when I got it and tried it on for the first time I was really disappointed. When applying the light pink color to my lips it created a weird opaque look and didn't completely matte out my natural lip color like the red. So from my experience if your going to buy this product get it in a deeper color like a hot pink, red or maroon, not a light color.

DIY: Summer Floral Manicure

Hello again! Woot after such a long hiatus you guys are getting two posts in one day! Today I'm going to teach you how to do this adorable Floral Manicure like the one below.

These are the nails I did on myself

What You'll Need:
-Top and Base Coat (I use Sally Hansen 'Double duty')
-Purple polish (I used Rimmel London 60 Seconds in the color 'Sweet Lanvender')
-Yellow polish (I used Sinfulcolors in the color 'Let's Meet')
-A small dotting tool
-Napkin

Step by Step:
1. First put on one layer of your base coat
2. Then paint two coats of your purple polish, let dry
3. Next put a glob of your yellow polish on a napkin
4. Using your dotting tool dip it into your yellow polish, then create five small dots in a circle. This creates the flower effect.
5. Repeat all the steps then let your nails dry
6. Put a layer of your top coat on then let your nails dry completely.

Then there you have it a beautiful and simple summer floral nail art manicure!

Product Review: CoverGirl NatureLuxe Foundation

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a long time but I've been just wayyyy to busy this past while. But I've decided tonight would be a good time to catch up on a post or two. So for today's post I', doing a product review on CoverGirls NatureLuxe Foundation.

So this product was really popular a few years ago when they had Miss Taylor Swift as the CoverGirl but since then it's definitely lost a lot of this fan base. When I was using this product I wasn't much of a makeup person so I thought 'naturally' (ha! see what I did there??) it was super great because it felt really light on my skin. What I didn't really realize was that this product did absolutely nothing for my skin. My skin tone was as un-even as before and my blemishes were maybe toned down a bit but not much. All in all NOW when I try this product I've noticed all these things and It's obvious to me now that this product isn't as good as I thought. So if you love this product by all means don't stop using it just cause I said so but, I'd suggest maybe also trying something new maybe a higher end product.

Product Review: TRESemmé Heat Protection Spray

I'm sorry today's post is a little late! But I've been a buys bee, any who todays post is a product review. I was on youtube watching some of my favorite beauty gurus when I started seeing the TRESemmé Heat Protection Spray pop up everywhere. This product had a lot of hype and I needed to try it out for myself. My hair is natural and has never been dyed but it is very thick and heavy and I don't want to fry it out. So I went to Target and bought the heat protectant.

I don't know about you but I'm feeling 22.... just kidding what I meant to say is, I don't know about you but my shower get so unorganized SO FAST. But I have found a shower organizer! So you know how on your shower head you can hang off thing? Well I bought a shower organizer that holds all my shower gels and soaps! See in my shower I have to corner shelfs that are full with shampoo, but my poor shower gels and soaps had no spot! I went to Walmart and found this...

It is the perfect thing for my loofa and other shower/bath products. Although that isn't anywhere near the amount of shower gels I have at least I can keep my most used ones in an easy to reach spot. These shower hangers are sold in a variety of home decor stores so if your shower needs a little TLC pick one of these up today!
